Bosco Integrated Development Society under the Family Counselling Centre along with intern students from Shillong college and Shillong commerce conduct an awareness program on teenage pregnancy and substance use on 25th July 2025 at Good Shepherd higher secondary school at Jongksha, Smit East Khasi Hills District Meghalaya. The main purpose of this program is to provide the students with the knowledge, skills, and resources necessary to make healthy, informed choices that improve their health, academic achievement, and long-term well-being.
The Entrepreneurs Business Expo was successfully organized on the 3rd of September, 2024, at the Soso Tham Auditorium, State Central Library in Shillong, Meghalaya. This event aimed to showcase the talent and innovation of local entrepreneurs, providing them with a platform to exhibit their products and services. The expo attracted 42 participants from diverse sectors including Bakery, Beauty and Wellness, Apparel, Carpentry, and Welding, all hailing from the Meghalaya region. The event commenced with an inauguration ceremony, during which the Smt. Santa Mary Shylla Chief Guest of the expo and other dignitaries from different department like DIC, NABARD, NESFAS, MSME were felicitated. The Executive Director delivered the welcome address, highlighting the significance of the expo in fostering entrepreneurship in the region. Following the address, the traditional lighting of the candle took place, symbolizing the formal opening of the event. The Chief Guest then delivered an inspiring speech, offering words of encouragement to the participating entrepreneurs, motivating them to strive for greater success in their respective fields. The expo continued throughout the day, attracting a significant number of visitors who were eager to explore the offerings from various sectors. The participants had the opportunity to interact with potential customers, network with other entrepreneurs, and exchange ideas on improving their businesses
