MEDP – Micro Enterprise Development Programme

The MEDP training is a 14-day programme focused on building organic farming and entrepreneurship skills among participants. The programme provides various types of training and guidance on organic farming, such as soil management and composting, pest and disease control strategies, and the selection and use of organic seeds and planting techniques and training on organic crop management practices such as planting, weeding, irrigation, harvesting, along with post-harvest handling, storage, and transportation of organic produce and capacity building on agri-enterprise business planning to help participants small income generating activities.

LEDP – Livelihood and Enterprise Development Programme

The Livelihood and Enterprise Development Programme (LEDP) aims to promote sustainable livelihoods and strengthening income-generating activities among SHG members. The programme is implemented through 11 SHG groups comprising 104 members and focuses on activities such as pig rearing, poultry keeping and management, homestead farming, feed production, disease and feed management, and improvement of livestock sheds. Training, exposure visits, technical guidance, and practical demonstrations are provided to enhance the knowledge and skills of beneficiaries and support the development of viable livelihood enterprises.
