<p><strong>Rynkatrang Khongsni</strong>, a self-employed young man from Mawlein Mawkhan village in Ri-Bhoi District, Meghalaya, is the youngest of four siblings. After completing his secondary education, financial constraints prevented him from further studies.</p><p>However, an awareness program organized by Don Bosco Technical School sparked his interest in vocational training, leading him to enroll in the Automotive Service Technician course at Don Bosco Technical School, Shillong. He later completed an Auto Body Painting Technician course.</p><p>At just 22, Rynkatrang opened his own auto mechanic workshop, <em>Four Season Painting Shop</em>, in his village, offering auto repair and painting services. His journey, fueled by determination and the skills gained through vocational training, reflects his resilience and optimism.</p><p>Rynkatrang expresses gratitude to God, his family, and Don Bosco Technical School for the opportunities that helped him realize his potential. He also appreciates the TVET BMZ Project for its support in mentoring youths across the state. His story is a testament to the transformative power of vocational education in creating opportunities for young entrepreneurs.</p>
